About R&R Mountain Retreat
Tucked away in the lush highlands of Dominica, in the peaceful village of Laudat, R&R Mountain Retreat is a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature.
Surrounded by rainforest, mountain air, and flowing water, our eco-rustic retreat was created for travelers who value calm, comfort, and authenticity. Whether you’re here to hike, soak, explore, or simply rest, R&R offers a grounding escape where nature sets the pace and every stay feels personal.
A Family-Run Retreat, Hosted with Heart
R&R Mountain Retreat is lovingly hosted by Roseline & Riley, who take pride in welcoming guests as individuals, not room numbers. With only a small number of rooms, the experience remains intimate, quiet, and unrushed. From home-cooked meals to thoughtful local advice, everything here is designed to make you feel cared for, comfortable, and completely at ease.
Wellness in Nature
Our philosophy is simple: true wellness comes from nature, simplicity, and space to unwind. Guests come to R&R to:
- Wake up to cool mountain air and birdsong
- Enjoy nourishing, freshly prepared meals
- Soak and relax after long hikes or waterfall swims
- Disconnect from noise and reconnect with themselves
This is not a resort, it’s a retreat. A place where stillness is part of the experience and the surroundings do most of the work.
Perfectly Located for Exploration
R&R Mountain Retreat sits at the heart of some of Dominica’s most iconic natural attractions, making it an ideal base for adventure and discovery:
- Boiling Lake – one of only two boiling lakes in the world
- Trafalgar Falls – the famous twin waterfalls, Mother & Father
- Freshwater Lake – cool highland views and gentle trails
- Sulphur springs, rainforest hikes, and river swims just minutes away
- Only a 15-minute drive from Roseau , Dominica’s capital
Whether you’re here for hiking, wellness, romance, or a peaceful staycation, everything is close, yet far enough to feel worlds away.
Come, Rest & Reconnect
At R&R Mountain Retreat, days are unstructured, nights are quiet, and nature is always present. Guests leave feeling lighter, rested, and more connected to the island and to themselves.
We look forward to welcoming you to the mountains of Laudat and sharing the calm, beauty, and warmth that make R&R so special.
