R&R Mountain Retreat, Laudat, Dominica
Getting to R&R Mountain Retreat is part of the experience. The drive takes you from the coast into Dominica’s lush interior, climbing into cooler mountain air and rainforest scenery as you approach the village of Laudat. Our retreat is just 15 minutes from Roseau, yet feels a world away from the bustle of town.
🚗 Driving Directions from Roseau
- Drive straight up the Roseau Valley heading inland.
- At the Trafalgar / Laudat split, stay LEFT.
- Continue uphill toward Laudat village.
- Turn LEFT onto Freshwater Lake Road.
- R&R Mountain Retreat is on the RIGHT.
- If you reach Freshwater Lake, turn back slightly.
✈️ Arriving from the Airport
From Douglas-Charles Airport, the drive takes approximately 1 to 1.25 hours. Once you reach Roseau, simply follow the directions above into Laudat.
- Hire a taxi at the airport
- Arrange a private transfer
- Rent a vehicle for island exploration
